Shirley M. Cornelius

Shirley M. Cornelius, 65, of Mapleton Depot, PA, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
    
Born August 5, 1950 in Union Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur H. & Geraldine R. (Skipper) Garman.
    
She is survived by five children, Tracy L. Shade and companion Gregory Martine, Jr. of RD, Mapleton Depot, PA, Patty S. Morgan and companion Dondi Platt of Pottstown, PA, Jesse J. Cornelius, Stephanie J. Parks and husband Scott and John T. Cornelius and wife Amy, all of RD, Mapleton Depot, PA.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Justin Shade, Ryan Shade, Johnny Morgan, Jr., Jacob Morgan, Mason Parks, Alexis Parks, Morgan Cornelius and Ben Cornelius, four great grandchildren, Lyrik D. Bookwalter, Ian Shade, Jace Shade and Lilyan Shade and one brother, Kenneth Garman of Roxbury, PA. One Brother, James Garman and one sister,Sandra Sheffield, preceded in death.
    
During her life she was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the guitar, crocheting and playing computer games. She will be remembered as a devoted mother.
    
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Beavertown Bible Church, 17758 New Fording Road, Todd, PA with Rev. Jeffrey Knepper officiating. Interment will be made at Bowman’s Chapel Cemetery, RD, Mapleton Depot, PA. Friends may call at the church 6 – 8 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
