Brenda Carol Rinker Clark, 72, Willow Street, Rockhill Furnace, PA died at 2:06 AM, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at UPMC-Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Born September 1, 1943 at Orbisonia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Max and Georgia (App) Rinker. She was married to Larry J. Clark on January 15, 1983. Mr. Clark survives at home.
Mrs. Clark is survived by a daughter whom she admired and loved very, very much, Shawna Cheree Baird-Dunmire and husband Randy, Three Springs, PA along with two step-children Lori Clark, Huntingdon, PA and Jamie Clark and wife Teri, O'Fallon, Missouri.
There are four step-grandchildren: Kennedy, Jarret, and Jacob Clark and Chloe Walker.
A brother Terry “Skip” Rinker survives of Orbisonia, PA.
She attended the Rockhill Church of the Brethren, Rockhill Furnace, PA.
A 1962 graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High School, she continued on to graduate at Thompson Business College, Harrisburg, PA, Pima College , Tucson, AZ and IBM Traffic School , Phoenix, AZ.
In earlier years, Mrs. Clark worked as a secretary at Hygienic Solutions, Altoona, PA, later for IBM as a Traffic Rate Auditor along with computer programming and shipping in Arizona, New York and California and was last employed as an Administrative Assistant at Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Orbisonia and the VFW Auxiliary, Mount Union, PA.
A Celebration of Life service is being planned by the family for a later date. Interment will be at IOOF Cemetery, Rockhill Furnace, PA. There will be no viewing or visitation.
