Theresa A. Amberg Chattaway, 71, of Milford, PA passed away on May 27th, 2013 surrounded by her family, at the Barn Hill Care Center, in Newton, NJ. She was a retired assistant at Dr. Serniuk’s Office, Newton, NJ. Theresa was a member of Saint Vincent DePaul Church, a founder and member of the Saint Vincent Stitchers and was a member of the Delaware Township and Dingmans Ferry Historical Society.
Born in Toledo, Ohio on October 14, 1941, she was predeceased by her first husband, John Amberg, and her second husband, the late George Chattaway.
Survivors include her daughter Karen Amberg Ruzycki, of Sparta, NJ; son Raymond Chattaway of Dingmans Ferry, PA; son George Chattaway of Newton, NJ; three sisters: Elaine Mohr and Laura Nixon of Ohio, and Kitty Powell of South Carolina; one brother Timothy Desmond of Ohio; four grandchildren: Meghan Lois and Bridget Adelle Ruzycki and George and Nicole Chattaway. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Amberg, and her brother, Patrick Desmond.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, PA (map/directions) on May 30th, 2013 at 10:30 AM with the Reverend Paul Mullen officiating.
Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Toledo, OH at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made in Theresa’s honor to the Saint Vincent Sharing Fund 101 Saint Vincent Drive, Milford, PA 18337.
