Janet A. Chapman

Janet A. Chapman, 77, formerly of Nossville, PA and more recently a resident of AristaCare at Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018.

Born Oct. 31, 1941 in Tell Township, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Grace (Hampton) Chapman. She was a devoted member of the Nossville United Methodist Church and enjoyed helping with Bible School.

She was a homemaker for her mother and sister Shirley until her health failed and she became a longtime resident of Apron Tree Personal Care at Spring Run, PA.

She is survived by a brother Gerald Chapman Sr. of Blairs Mills, PA.
Miss Chapman is also survived by nephews Robert Jones (Terry), Carl Jones (Barb), Jerry Chapman (Teresa), Brett Chapman (Audrey), and Tim Fix along with nieces Julie Umbrell (Kirk) and Lisa Chapman Smith.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph and Clyde Chapman and sisters, Mary Jones and Shirley Fix and nephew Billie Fix Jr.

Miss Chapman was a member of the Nossville United Methodist Church.
During her life she was a homemaker.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Nossville United Methodist Church, 19852 Tuscarora Creek Road, Blairs Mills, PA with Pastor Bill Bair officiating. Interment will be made at the Nossville Cemetery, adjacent to the church.

Friends may call from 7 - 9 PM on Friday, Nov. 16 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
