Anna T. Calligan, 91, of Milford, PA passed away June 29, 2015 at home. She and her husband owned and operated Ed’s Place, a luncheonette in Emerson, NJ. She also worked at Steinbachs in Manalapan NJ.  During WWII, Anna was an original “Rosie the Riveter” riveting wings on airplanes in Pittston, PA.

The daughter of the late Leo G. and Mary (Gallagher) McFarland she was born January 2, 1924 in Avoca, PA. She was married to the late Edward J. Calligan. 

Survivors include three daughters Barbara Ann Brathe of Charlotte, NC, Mary Resteghini of Milford, PA, Nancy Synek of South River, NJ; son Edward Calligan of Denver, CO; sister Claire Fioriti of Jacksonville, FL; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two daughters Virginia Brewer and Amy Dibens and two great grandchildren Mason and Lily Pedro.

Services and cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.

Burial will take place in Milford Cemetery, Dingman Twp., PA
