Mildred L. Booher

Mildred L. Booher, 88, of Rockhill Furnace, PA, died at 11:58 PM, Sunday, June 17, 2018 at her home.
    
Born March 12, 1930 at New Castle, PA, she was a daughter of the late Clifford & Emma (Lewis) Duncan. She was united in marriage to Lester B. Booher on January 1, 1950 at Pittsburgh, PA. Mr. Booher preceded in death on June 17, 1993.
    
She is survived by one daughter, Marcia Roller of Rockhill Furnace, PA, six grandchildren, Michael Rogers, Willie Nearhood, Jr., Jill Batterson, Ashley Roller, Bradley Roller and Marissa Boozel and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings, James Duncan of Tionesta, PA, Maryellen Koelliker of New Castle, PA and Tom Duncan of Edinburgh, PA. Two sons, Robert and Gregory Booher, one daughter, Barbara Nearhood, one grandson, John Roller, two sisters, Ruth Burrows and Nancy Rae and one brother, Joel Duncan, preceded in death.
    
Mrs. Booher was a member of the Orbisonia Church of the Nazarene, Rockhill Furnace, PA. She was a 1948 graduate of New Castle High School, New Castle, PA. During her life she was a homemaker and was also employed by the Home Nursing Agency, Huntingdon, PA, the former Potts’ Grocery Box, Orbisonia, PA, the former Rockhill Sportswear, Inc. and the former Ott Funeral Home, Orbisonia, PA.
    
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Darrell Nicklow officiating. Interment will be made at the I. O. O. F. Memorial Cemetery, Rockhill Furnace, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
