Joseph G. Booher

Joseph Glenn Booher, 57, Uttley Street, Saltillo, PA died at 7:45 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at J. C. Blair Hospital, Huntingdon, PA. 

Born December 17, 1957 in Huntingdon, he was the son of Bernard and Carol (Brodbeck) Booher, who survive of Saltillo, PA. 

He was married to Candy A. Gartland on October 16, 1982 at Saltillo, PA.  Mrs. Booher preceded in death on October 14, 1996. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Booher is survived by three sons: Joseph E. Booher II and wife Ashley, Frostburg, MD; Brandon D. Booher and wife Heidi Jo, Saltillo; and Eric D. Booher, Saltillo.  One grandson Mason Booher also survives. 

There are two brothers: Kevin Booher, Three Springs, PA and Douglas Booher, Saltillo, PA. 

Mr. Booher was of the Methodist Faith. 

He was a 1975 graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High School. 

For 20 years, he worked as a Corrections Officer at the Huntingdon County Jail. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Pastor David Oldham officiating.  Interment will be at Saltillo Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 6—8:00 PM on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
