Joseph P. Bones

Joseph P. Bones, 85, of Milford, PA and formerly of Drexel Hill, PA passed away May 23, 2015 at home.  A 40 year member with Plasterer Local 8 Phila. PA.  Active member of Mt. Laurel VFW Post # 8612, Milford, PA, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity for many years, and a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1950 to 1954.

The son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Conallen) Bones and predeceased by six brothers.  

Beloved husband of Mary Jane (Danaher); loving father of Joseph (Anna), John (Rosemary), Patrick (Elizabeth); sister Elizabeth Cooke (Leo); Pop of Katie, Joey, Kristen, Patrick, Colleen, Casey and one great grandson Chase.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 west Harford St., Milford, PA on May 27, 2015 from 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, PA on May 28, 2015 at 10 AM with Rev. Gregory Kelly officiating.

Burial will take place at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple Twp., PA on May 29, 2015 at noon.
