Johnny Alvin Bird, III

Peacefully and quietly on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 7am, Johnny Alvin Byrd III of Washington, DC transitioned to eternity at Capital Caring Hospice in Aldie, Virginia after a brief illness.  He is survived by his wife Katie, daughters, Alvita and Millette, son Timothy, granddaughter Alana (Clarence) Moore, great granddaughter Chloe, brother Kenneth and sister Joyce.
 
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and legacy on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Evergreen Baptist Church located at 325 55th Street NE, Washington, DC.  A viewing of his body will take place from 9-11am with the service immediately following at 11am.  Flowers, letters of acknowledgement and cards may be sent to Bianchi Funeral Service, LLC at 814 Upshur Street NW, Washington, DC 20011.
