Annette Badami-Owsley

Annette 'Bunny' Badami Owsley, 68, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2013 at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas following a long battle with leukemia.
She was born on December 5, 1944 in Louisville to the late Santo Joseph (Bob) and Evelyn Badami. Bunny attended Western Kentucky University where she met and married her husband Mike. She was a member of the Bowling Green Warren County Jaycettes, member of the Bowling Green Junior Woman’s Club, Former President of the Southern Kentucky Bar Auxiliary, member of the Kentucky State Lawyer’s Auxiliary, Judge Chairman for the Kentucky Junior Miss Program, active with the Capital Arts Commission, member of the Warren County Advisory Board of Citizens First Bank, member of the Bowling Green Board of Ethics Committee, a current member of the Broadway United Methodist Church, and all around awesome mom and Grand-Bunny!
Bunny is survived by her husband: Michael; four daughters: Lisa Freeman (Philip) and Lana Priest (Park) of Bowling Green, Lorie Averitt (Jeff) of Lexington, and Michele Owsley of Nashville; a brother: Don Badami (Mary) of Louisville; a sister: Debbie Biggers (Mark) of Glasgow; eight grandchildren: Hayden, Austin, Hampton, and Savannah Freeman, Ashbrook and Sutton Averitt, and Brady and Sloane Priest; four nieces and nephews: Jason Badami (Delea), Marie Taylor (Dan), Ashton Biggers (Melanie), and Hayley Biggers; and six great-nieces and great-nephews: Drew, Jaelynn, Drea, and Dominic Badami, Cooper and Mia Taylor.
Visitation will be held at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel on Sunday, July 28 from 2 until 6 p.m. The funeral will be held at Broadway United Methodist Church on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial at Fairview Cemetery.
