Henry Lee Austin

Henry Lee Austin, 77 of White Plains Alabama went to be with the Lord on September 19, 2018. 

 

Henry was born on May 25, 1941. His parents were Walter & Leila (Johnson) Austin.

 

Henry was a man who was loved by many. He was loved most by his precious wife, Linda of 55 years. 

 

Henry was is the service station business for 42 years. During that time he was always looking for ways to help others. He never knew a stranger and was a friend to everyone that walked thru his doors. 

 

He was preceded in his death by his father and mother, Walter & Leila Austin, his brothers, Glen Austin and Billy Austin, his sisters Anniebell Clay, Willie Nell Elliott, Bernice Jackson, and Flora Ponder. 

 

Henry is survived by his wife Linda Jones Austin, his son Scott Austin and his wife Susan, granddaughter Breann Austin & grandsons Andrew & Alex Strickland, and his sister, Bettye McElhaney.

 

Memorial Services for Henry will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at White Plains Baptist Church, White Plains Road, Anniston AL.
